As a member of our program/project team, you will perform all aspects of planning and scheduling activities. You will be interacting with internal design team members, external consultants, construction contractors and/or supply vendors to understand and communicate issues/conflicts that impact the schedule. You will also conduct and co-ordinate reviews of consultants, contractors, and vendor schedules, to ensure plans are realistic and achievable.

As a Senior Planner/Scheduler, your main tasks will include:

  • Develop, maintain, and control large multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder engineering/construction project schedules

  • Develop, update, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for a program consisting of multiple projects.

  • Develop and establish Work Breakdown Structures and Baseline Schedules

  • Review designers and contractors baseline schedules, monthly updates and earned value reports

  • Define, update, and monitor inter‑project schedule relationships across the program.

  • Complete what-if schedule analyses and present results

  • Review construction contractor’s schedules, monitor progress against planned completion and contract milestones

  • Support critical activities such as Value Engineering (VE) studies, Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA), and claims (time entitlement analysis)

  • Coordinate and communicate across large multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder project teams

  • Implement best practices for schedule and schedule integration

  • Analyze schedules, identify critical paths, and propose recovery plans to project teams

  • Identify and track critical activities and follow-up with project teams

  • Perform earned value analysis

  • Perform Delay Analysis and develop delay report

  • Cost and resource load schedules

  • Write accurate and succinct schedule narratives and reports

  • Generate project reports and dashboards (e.g., monthly reports, 3 and 6-week look ahead, and critical items list)

  • Develop and present schedule/cost analysis presentations (graphic, written, and verbal)

  • Resolve any issues raised by the planning/scheduling team

  • Identify opportunities for improvements

  • Mentor and coach other members of the planning/scheduling team

We invite applications from candidates with:

  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in planning/scheduling of major projects in the infrastructure sector, with increasing responsibility

  • Must have experience working on large‑scale construction projects.

  • Lead and manage scheduling resources within the program.

  • Experience with various procurement models

  • Strong leadership and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to liaise with client, contractor, and team

  • Confident and able to develop and present

  • Advance level skills with Primavera P6 scheduling software

  • Experience with TILOS linear scheduling software is a plus

  • Experience with Acumen Fuse is a plus

  • Proficient with MS Project

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field

  • Relevant certification with either AACE International or the Project Management Institute or equivalent is a plus

The expected salary range for this position is from $129,000 - $159,000.
