Working Hours: Full-time 37 hours

Who are we?

Join the team that keeps water flowing and communities thriving.

At Anglian Water, we know that every drop counts — and behind every reliable service is a team of dedicated people making it happen. Our IMR Water Recycling Team plays a vital role in maintaining the systems that help deliver sustainable water management across the region.

We’re looking for practical problem-solvers and team players who want to make a real difference. In this role, you’ll help maintain equipment that supports accurate water use, improves efficiency, and protects our environment for future generations. No two days are the same — from diagnosing faults to delivering hands-on solutions in the field, you’ll be part of a team that keeps our water recycling operations running smoothly.

If you enjoy being part of a supportive team that takes pride in doing meaningful work, this could be the opportunity for you. At Anglian Water, you won’t just build a career — you’ll help safeguard one of our most precious resources.

What you will be doing as our Delivery Assurance Co-Ordinator

The Delivery Assurance Coordinator is a key supporting role within the IMR-WR Delivery Assurance function, responsible for assisting in the implementation and day-to-day operation of the ISO-principle aligned quality assurance and control model established by the Delivery Assurance Manager.

The role works closely with the Delivery Assurance Manager to support the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the IMR-WR quality assurance framework. This includes contributing to KPI tracking and reporting, document control processes, quality assurance activities, programme audits, management checks, and compliance monitoring across the Alliance. Working in a highly collaborative environment, the Delivery Assurance Coordinator engages with partner organisations and the central programme team to support the consistent application of governance standards. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build effective working relationships to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

The Delivery Assurance Coordinator provides operational support in the delivery of the Three Lines-of-Defence (LoD) assurance model. This includes undertaking planned and reactive assurance activities, gathering evidence, facilitating audits, and maintaining auditable records across all functions within the hub-and-spoke organisational model. The role supports the assessment of partner compliance with contractual and governance requirements, ensuring adherence to agreed standards and performance expectations.

The role contributes to the maintenance and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supporting the Delivery Assurance Manager in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the Contracted Annual Performance Indicators (API). This includes helping to establish a reliable “single version of the truth” through disciplined data management and reporting practices. Delivery assurance activity is risk-based, transparent, and aligned with Anglian Water’s governance expectations. The Coordinator supports the independence and integrity of assurance processes by ensuring accurate documentation, traceability of findings, and timely escalation of risks or non-compliance. Where required, the role may support the Delivery Assurance Manager in undertaking NEC Supervisor-related activities, including assisting with the review of allowable costs and contributing to defect management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the Integrated Quality Assurance and Quality Control system, ensuring quality-related records, databases, and systems are accurately maintained, up to date, and compliant with agreed controls.

  • Assist in the capture and development of key sections of the Governance & Controls Handbook, including supporting documentation such as how-to guides and process maps, and contributing to the induction of new staff into the Alliance.

  • Co-ordinate and support the completion of internal audits in line with the published IMR-WR audit programme.

  • Assist with evidence collation, documentation and responses required for external audits

  • Ensure that quality performance trends are assessed and action plans put in place to drive improvement.

  • Support the accurate use of the IMR-WR SharePoint site, that all relevant management information is accurately stored and placed on the SP site. Work with the IMR-WR SharePoint site owners and the Head-of-IMR to improve its use to support quality assurance and control in the Alliance.

  • Work with process owners across the Alliance to support the development, quality review, and refinement of processes, under the guidance of the Delivery Assurance Manager
