Job Description

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (Annualised Hours) meaning you'll work more during busy periods and less during quieter times — while receiving a guaranteed, consistent salary throughout the year.

Are you passionate about great food, excellent service, and working in a beautiful outdoor setting? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our friendly team at Grafham Water, delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service, greeting and serving visitors with a warm and friendly manner

• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, snacks, and light meals

• Operate tills and handle transactions accurately

• Ensure the café and visitor areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked

• Support the team during peak times and contribute to a positive working environment

About You:

• Experience in a café, hospitality, or customer service role

• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with people

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and peak season periods as part of your regular hours
