We are currently looking for SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST (d/f/m) to join our team “OPERATION PLANNING” in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel .

The mission of Operational Planning is to manage the global inventory of spares for all Airbus aircraft programmes worldwide.

We play a central role in the global aftermarket supply chain by calibrating the global stock level to meet customer demands in line with our corporate financial and performance objectives. As a Supply Chain Analyst, your primary role will be to manage and plan a product portfolio, ensuring that the current inventory invested will deliver the necessary performance level.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Analyzing material forecasts based on customer demand, planning & in-service data to successfully plan the on-time spares availability
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts and tools across our worldwide warehouse footprint, in line with our Planning policies
  • Working closely with Commercial and Supply Chain organizations, including Product Management, Customer Order Desk, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse and Logistics.
  • Technically assessing upcoming events with high commercial risk (such as the entry into service of new aircraft models and major maintenance events), and creating a planning strategy beyond the scope of traditional, statistical forecasting methods.

ABOUT YOU

Equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business informations or Business administration, industrial engineer (or similar) paired with professional experience ideally in Supply Chain (or a comparable role) , we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:

  • Project management skills, with strong ability to take ownership to deliver
  • SAP knowledge, PowerBI, and ability to work and build reports in Skywise or equivalent are desired
  • Strong team player, customer-minded person with strong analytical skills and the ability to see the bigger picture as well as to build successful relations with stakeholders across different functions, and proactive mindset
  • Business fluent English, German is a plus
