Description : The Digital Workplace team is dedicated to revolutionizing how Airbus employees work, collaborate, and share information. As we continue our digital transformation, we are evolving our team to include a Technology Lead who will drive technical excellence, streamline operations, and spearhead innovation within the Google Workspace ecosystem.

Role Overview

You will be at the forefront of the transition from legacy MS Office tools to modern, Google Workspace-compatible solutions. You will not only build complex applications but also liaise with stakeholders to transform business requirements into high-impact digital tools. Your leadership will ensure that our solutions are sustainable, innovative, and delivered with quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Drive technical excellence by challenging stakeholder needs to provide the most appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
  
• Stakeholder Liaison & Strategy: Collaborate with the Google Workspace project team and business stakeholders to assess, prioritize, and allocate transformation use cases.
  
• Solution Development: Lead the transformation of manual or legacy processes into sophisticated solutions using AppSheet and Apps Script.
  
• End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Oversee subjects from initial demand management through development, testing, and long-term support.
  
• Synergy & Innovation: Foster a culture of sharing by managing solution libraries and ensuring technical synergies across development teams.
  
• Deployment & Support: Manage the preparation, deployment, and user acceptance testing (UAT) of solutions, providing documentation and end-user awareness.
  
• Operational Excellence: Monitor existing solutions for continuous improvement and deliver regular progress reports to PSLs/Product Management team.
  

Qualifications & Technical Stack

We seek a curious, passionate leader with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field and 6 - 9 years of development experience.

Core Technical Requirements :

• Google AppSheet: Deep expertise in building complex, business-oriented applications.
  
  
• Google Apps Script: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and scripting for Workspace automation.
  
• Google Workspace APIs: Hands-on experience with Google Drive API, Google Docs API, and Google Admin SDK.
  
• Google Cloud Platform: Familiarity with Cloud Run and Load Balancing.
  
  • Understanding of SSL Certificate management.
    
  • Basic knowledge of Vertex AI for innovative features.
    
  • Experience with the Google Workspace Marketplace.
    
• Web Development & Deployment: Basic knowledge of web application deployment and hosting.
  
• Testing: Experience in developing test scripts and executing robust testing phases.

• Agile Expertise: Working experience in Agile Scrum, SAFe, and/or Kanban environments.
  
• Communication: Fluent in English for a transnational context.
  
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to translate complex business requirements into sustainable technical solutions.
