Responsibilities - your mission

We are looking for a highly motivated IT Business Analyst to join Airbus in our GBS office in Lisbon.

This role is responsible for the operational IT support for systems and applications in "run mode" ensuring a smooth experience to end-users.

The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with a passion for troubleshooting with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain critical IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support to internal teams or end-users, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Document incidents, problems, and solutions to build a robust knowledge base.
  • Contribute to the automation of repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency.


Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with relational database management and querying.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Shell batch scripting (Bash and/or Powershell).
  • Development skills are a plus, such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices is a plus.
  • Knowledge of GenAI technologies is a plus.


Soft Skills:

  • Fluent level of English.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Good documentation and communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.


Educational and Professional Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in similar roles.
