Brief Description :

  • Guaranty at local level a proper implementation of the branch / company agreements, collective regulations and local labour law.
  • Guaranty the application and the buy-in of existing Social Dialog Company agreement in order to maintain a constructive social dialog.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Labour Law:
    • Compliance Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to all applicable Labour Laws across the operational cluster, encompassing both collective bargaining and individual employment matters.
    • Focal Point: Act as the dedicated, primary focal point and trusted advisor for HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to support the resolution of employee concerns quickly and effectively through established means.
    • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate major labour law risks to safeguard the organization.
    • Policy Development: Design, define, and implement comprehensive internal policies and rules that are compliant with current labour legislation.
    • Knowledge & Development: Actively contribute to the Labour Law by maintaining and continuously upskilling technical competencies, and participating in transnational or trans-divisional projects related to labour law.
    • Maintain current knowledge and awareness of immediate HR issues: internal policies and practices, state employment regulations, public social issues, and current interpersonal/team dynamics.
    • Compliance Culture: Champion and promote a strong culture of labour law compliance throughout the organization.
    • Reporting & Communication: Maintain and regularly share detailed compliance reports/dashboards with key internal stakeholders.
    • Regulatory Updates: Inform and update internal stakeholders on significant or upcoming changes, amendments, and updates to labour laws and regulations.
  • People Matters Investigation:
    • Alert Assessment: Receive and rigorously assess reports/alerts submitted via internal channels and external reporting mechanisms to determine the need for investigation.
    • Investigation Coordination: Coordinate with all necessary internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless execution of the investigation process and alignment with established organizational protocols.
    • Case Management: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations for reported cases, culminating in the preparation of a detailed report that includes clear, actionable recommendations.
    • Present investigation findings and recommendations to disciplinary committees as required.
    • Feedback & Closure: Communicate investigation outcomes and resolution feedback to both the Reporter and the Alleged party, maintaining confidentiality and fairness.
    • Recommendation Implementation: Monitor and ensure the timely and proper implementation of all approved investigation recommendations.
    • KPI Reporting and Communication: Draft and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • General Support: Execute other tasks related to compliance & investigations.
