Job Description

Job Description:

Turn business needs into digital solutions

Are you a structured analytical thinker who excels at turning business requirements into clear digital specifications? Satair is looking for a Digital Business Analyst to play a central role across our digital portfolio. You will bridge the gap between our business units and technical execution, ensuring that operational and commercial needs are effectively translated into functional solutions across our global e-commerce platform, omnichannel customer journeys, and digital partner services.

As a core facilitator in our digital organization, you will work closely with both business units and technical teams. Your mission is to ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into clear, structured, and actionable digital specifications that maximize value for our customers and partners worldwide. If you love deep-diving into digital products and creating alignment across diverse stakeholders, this is your next challenge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Engineering: Gather, structure, and document business requirements across e-commerce initiatives, omnichannel capabilities, and digital platform services.
  • Digital Specification: Translate high-level business needs into detailed digital requirements, user stories, features, and epics, ensuring a transparent and healthy backlog for our development teams.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate workshops and scoping sessions to align diverse stakeholders across commercial business units and IT.
  • Product & Tech Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Product Owners, architects, and internal/external development teams to clarify technical nuances and functional dependencies.
  • Validation & Testing: Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and functional validation to ensure that delivered digital capabilities perfectly match the original business criteria.
  • End-to-End Traceability: Ensure complete clarity and clear documentation from the initial business requirement all the way to final production delivery.

Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a complex digital or enterprise IT environment.
  • Digital Requirement Mapping: Strong track record of successfully transforming business requirements into functional digital specifications and agile user stories.
  • Digital Domain Knowledge: A solid understanding of modern B2B/B2C e-commerce platforms, customer portals, and omnichannel customer touchpoints is a strong plus, but not a strict requirement.
  • Agile Mindset: Deep understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, product-centric setup.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical developers.
  • Technical Toolset: Hands-on experience with collaboration and agile tools like Jira and Confluence is essential.
  • Language: Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken, since you will be operating in a truly global environment.
