Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical expert to lead development & integration community of practice. This role involves driving the strategic roadmap of development & integration standards of various teams, mentoring the community of practice and fostering a culture of secdevops in SAP.

As a COP Lead Dev & integration, you will bridge technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure best practices are authored & implemented in projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as COP Dev & Int for SAP ABAP on S/4, RAP, BTP, Fiori, clean core and extensibility.
  • Coordinate and prepare the COP backlog and prioritize features in line with key strategic projects
  • Lead the strategy, execution and guidance on clean core and extensibility(developer, side-by-side and key user extensibility).
  • Collaborate with other COPs & architects for traversal topics.
  • Work with project leaders and business teams to identify training needs and convert them into effective learning content.
  • Drive automation and operational excellence across SAP landscapes.
  • Drive the code control, automation and measurement using ATC, CALM, CCIA etc.
  • Ensure documentation, governance, and compliance for SAP best practices.
  • Assist in measuring system performance and project performance devising technical KPIs
  • Facilitate workshops and training for stakeholders on tools and best practices.
  • Provide input on budget planning, vendor evaluations, and tool licensing.


Required skills & experience:

  • 10-15 years of experience in SAP development and development audits.
  • Proven experience as a fullstack developer understanding S/4Hana clean core development, ATC, integration frameworks, security, API Designs and data exposition outside SAP.
  • Working knowledge or hands-on experience with SAP BTP services such as SAP Build etc., fiori and ABAP
  • Good understanding of SAP systems(SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the Integration suite and its services is good to have.
  • Experience in Agile methodology; previous experience in a leading community of developers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and prioritize accordingly.


Preferred Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA
  • Experience with SAP LC/NC tools
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like SAP BTP, AWS, or Azure.
