Job Objectives

  • This role will support the Regional Compensation & Benefits Manager with the compensation and benefits related topics in Singapore, the headquarters of the region. The scope also comprises of project management on various topics, eg. HRMS (Payroll), large scale job evaluation projects, etc.

Job Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits Operations

  • Supports the review and implementation of Reward policies (e.g. insurance, compensation & benefits campaigns, job evaluation, etc) across all Airbus entities.
  • Have a continuous mindset for progression, simplification and harmonization on Compensation & Benefits (C&B) topics.
  • Kept abreast and is knowledgeable to apply such updates of relevant government bodies and legislations such as Central Provision Fund (CPF), Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) etc. to the Company.
  • Supports in the management of any ad hoc, compensation & benefits related campaigns.
  • Contributes to a full range of C&B and shared services topics; but not limited to job evaluation, salary benchmarking.
  • Subject matter expert for C&B topics with internal customers (HRs) and external third parties (insurance provider & broker etc.)
  • Supports to update HR related policies (e.g. Handbook, C&B policy, etc) concerning C&B to reflect current, accurate and compliant content with local regulations, Ethics & Compliance policy and Airbus Values.
  • To be adept to the Company’s HRMS system in particular to the Rewards modules, i.e. payroll, attendance, leave and personnel.
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to other HR peers in the country.
  • Supports HRBP to respond to employee inquiries on Singapore compensation and benefit enquiries.
  • Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company.
  • Needs to have the adaptability to work with changing strategies, initiatives, and projects directed by Group and Regional Rewards
  • May be required to support projects directed by Group and/or Regional Rewards
  • Represent Airbus at HR external conferences and related networking events.
  • Actively participate to internal company HR networks

Outputs Required

  • Statutory Compliance: 100% accuracy "on-time and error-free" execution of reward topics to be aligned with local regulation.
  • Salary Structures & Job Grading: Developing and maintaining internal salary bands, job grades, and grading systems.
  • Market Benchmarking Reports: Analyzing salary surveys (e.g., Mercer, WTW) to compare company pay against industry standards.
  • Annual Salary & Bonus Review: Executing the annual increment and performance bonus cycles, including budget simulations and payout calculations.
  • Benefits Administration: Managing employee enrollment for medical, dental, and group insurance plans.
  • Vendor Management: Liaising with insurance brokers for plan renewals, premium negotiations, and service issues.
  • HR Policy Advising: Providing guidance to HR Business Partners on rewards-related issues.
  • Project Management: Implementing new compensation tools, automation projects, or harmonizing policies.

Job Requirements

  • Degree and above in any discipline preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or Economics
  • At least 2 years of working knowledge in Compensation & Benefits (in-house or as consultant), through such topics as: job evaluation and grading, benchmark, understanding of taxes and social contributions, benefits schemes, etc.
  • Good operational experience within fast pace and complex multinational environment
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer oriented mindset to ensure proper stakeholder management and provide professional HR services to internal customers
  • Strong knowledge of major HR Management Systems (e.g. BIPO, Workday, etc)
  • Highly numeric, analytical mind with sharp attention to detail and excellent statistical skills. Competent in managing excel or G-sheets
  • Effective in presentations (ie. verbal and material references)
