About the role

Are you ready to take ownership of high-impact projects, drive innovation, and lead cross-functional teams to success? We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager based and living in Germany to join our team in and steer a wide range of strategic initiatives to completion.

In this role, you’ll report directly to the Project Manager Team Lead and act as the key liaison between our Consulting team and clients. You’ll lead from the front, ensuring not just delivery, but true value creation.

You’ll manage end-to-end project delivery: facilitating client and internal meetings, owning project documentation (statements of work, change requests, etc.), and keeping a sharp eye on budgets, resources, and timelines. Your leadership will ensure alignment and transparency across all engagements, maintaining "One Version of the Truth."

What you'll be doing

  • Ensure successful and on-time delivery of various projects across the portfolio
  • Be the senior point of contact in all aspects of projects
  • Managing issues, risk and project change requests where necessary
  • Meeting coordination and facilitation with customers and internal teams
  • Creating and monitoring programmes & projects, such as and not limited to: Level 0 through to Level 3 Plans, earned Value Management (SPI / CPI), Scope of work (Change Log tracking), executive-level Risk, Issue & Opportunity Management, coaching and mentoring of junior staff
  • Manage Client project budget worksheets and project resourcing
  • Provide Internal and Client Reporting
  • Accountable for providing invoicing information
  • Translation of Statement of works requirements into Level 1 Plans

Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • Fluent German, written and spoken, is a must
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager
  • Scrum Master experience, facilitating Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives), removing impediments, coaching teams on Scrum best practices, and driving continuous improvement to deliver high-quality increments on time
  • Advanced understanding of Project Management and Software Engineering methodologies (i.e., Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, PRINCE2 for Agile Scrum Master, Product Management etc.)
  • Ability to understand departmental financials and reconcile revenue/expenses
  • Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft software tools, Atlassian software tools including Jira Roadmaps, and OpenAir
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to effectively communicate with all layers of management and stakeholders with a proven track record of successfully managing IT projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and with other teams
  • Critical thinker, including the ability to understand the “big picture” and trade-offs
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic technical organisation with a rapidly expanding customer base.
  • Personable, helpful and professional attitude

A few nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrable knowledge of any of the following technologies: Agile Methodology, AWS, DevOps, Atlassian Toolset, Azure DevOps and Hybrid Cloud environments
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Project Management and Software Engineering methodologies (i.e., Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, PRINCE2 for Agile, etc.)
  • Experience with Google-Suite, Microsoft software tools, the Atlassian toolset (Jira and Confluence) and Netsuite OpenAir
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices, also Managed Services (ITiL 4)
  • Agile at Scale (SAFe, S@S, LeSS, DA)
