We are experts at delivering enterprise software, tailored solutions, and quality services across some of the world’s most trusted technology ecosystems, including Atlassian, AWS, Slack, GitLab, monday.com and Aha!

Job Description

About the role

  • Our customer is exiting GitLab and migrating thousands of repositories to GitHub (SCM) while adopting Harness for CI/CD & STO, with security hardened via Snyk, SonarQube, OPA policies, and IDP via Entra ID (LDAP/SSO).
  • As the Senior DevOps Migration Consultant, you’ll act as both technical lead and day-to-day client interface from discovery through cut-over.
You’ll partner closely with GitHub and Harness teams to design a streamlined, automated end-to-end migration golden path. This engagement offers the opportunity to set enterprise DevSecOps standards within a senior, low-bureaucracy team

What you'll be doing

  • Lead discovery workshops and inventory existing tooling (GitLab, Jenkins) to produce a migration plan.
  • Design RBAC structure and implement repository migration automation (including full history, issues, and MRs).
  • Define and implement Harness CI/CD reference pipelines, templates, and OPA guardrails.
  • Integrate Harness with Snyk, SonarQube, and Artifactory for a secure supply chain.
  • Coach ~350–400 developers on Harness workflows and inner-sourcing practices (template contribution).
  • Act as trusted consultant to stakeholders, balancing technical leadership with hands-on delivery

Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience automating repository migrations GitLab → GitHub (including history/issues/MRs).

  • Production expertise with Harness CI/CD and STO.

  • Deep knowledge of CI/CD, Terraform IaC, OPA, and secure supply chain tooling (Artifactory, Snyk, SonarQube).

  • Strong background in identity & access management (LDAP/Entra ID, SCIM, RBAC, audit).

  • Solid AWS & Azure skills (EKS/AKS, IAM, landing zones).

  • Polished consulting and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead enterprise-scale transformation
