What you´ll build
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation, ensure reliability, and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps workflows.
- Lead containerization initiatives and deploy applications across Kubernetes environments managed via Gardener.
- Manage microservices deployments for various SAP SuccessFactors services in Kubernetes clusters using Helm and Kustomize.
- Develop and enhance Helm charts for multiple SuccessFactors products.
- Automate operational workflows using Python and Shell scripting.
- Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the containerized landscape.
- Adhere to ITIL-based change management processes to ensure controlled and compliant deployments.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems and services.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance deployment reliability and speed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build, deployment, and infrastructure automation.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell for automation. Expertise in Chef & Ansible
- Hands-on experience with Rundeck, Jenkins, Git, and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Helm, and strong familiarity with Linux environments. Intermediate working knowledge of Windows systems is required, as some products are deployed on Windows-based environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in release engineering practices.
