As a Life Sciences R&D Consultant, you will:

  • Work as part of focused project teams across a range of Life Sciences R&D topics, including research, clinical development, regulatory, pharmacovigilance and adjacent biotech / medtech domains

  • Independently lead workstreams to assess client R&D strategies, operating models, processes and technology landscape as part of broader transformation programmes

  • Gather, synthesise and analyse data from a variety of sources to draw insights and develop strategic recommendations across R&D productivity, pipeline / portfolio prioritisation, clinical trial innovation, regulatory and safety transformation, and digital / AI-enabled change

  • Structure and communicate outcomes to client management teams, helping senior stakeholders make informed, evidence-based decisions

  • Work alongside client teams to help implement recommendations and deliver measurable value, helping get the right therapies to patients faster

We are looking for you if you have:

  • 2-5+ years’ relevant experience focusing on R&D in the Life Sciences industry, including strategy / management consulting and/or experience within biopharma or biotech R&D organisations

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record. An advanced degree is a plus but not essential

  • Strong functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas: R&D strategy and operating model; research and clinical development; pipeline / portfolio / asset strategy; regulatory, safety or pharmacovigilance; digital transformation and innovation; data, analytics and AI in R&D; patient, site and investigator experience

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem solving skills

  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Fluency in English

  • An interest in technology, data and the future of Life Sciences R&D

Location:

Your home office will be in London. This role is client-facing and may therefore involve travel, working in other parts of the UK as well as overseas depending on the needs of the project.
