The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Manager - Physical AI Leader to join our UKI Supply Chain and Engineering Data and AI team. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the convergence of Data and AI, physical operations, and supply chain reinvention, shaping how industrial and operational enterprises move from reactive, siloed systems to intelligent, autonomous and physically aware value chains.

You will bring deep expertise in applied AI spanning data engineering, machine learning, computer vision, robotics integration or industrial IoT, combined with a strong appreciation for how physical supply chain, manufacturing and operations environments work. You will lead the design and delivery of Physical AI solutions that connect Digital Twins, AI agents, orchestration engines, robotics and operational systemsdigital intelligence to real-world assets, processes and decision-making. In doing so, you will enable more intelligent, increasingly autonomous physical operations and, and will help clients understand and realise the transformative potential of AI in their physical operations.

This is a senior, client-facing role requiring both technical credibility and the ability to communicate vision and value to executive stakeholders. You will build and lead high-performing teams, originate new opportunities and be a recognised voice on Physical AI within the practice and the market.

You will be closely connected to Accenture's broader Data & AI organisation, leveraging our global hubs, Centres of Excellence, assets and offerings while helping to shape and scale our UKI proposition in this space.

In this role you will:

  • Physical AI and agentic operations leadership: Help define and lead the UKI point of view on Physical AI and the agentic enablement of physical operations, including autonomous systems, vision AI, robotics and cobotic integration, Digital Twins, AI agents, orchestration enginesdigital twin connectivity, and AI-driven asset and process intelligence, embedding this across client engagements and propositions.
  • Client advisory: Act as a trusted senior adviser to COOs, VPs of Operations, Chief Digital Officers and Supply Chain leaders, translating Physical AI potential into practical roadmaps, investment cases and operating model change.
  • Solution design: Lead the design of end-to-end Physical AI and agentic operations solutions, connecting Digital Twins, AI agents, orchestration engines, robotics and operational systems— from data infrastructure and model development through to edge deployment at the edge, integration with OT and IT systems, and operational adoption—to support decision-making and increasingly autonomous operations.
  • Delivery leadership: Sponsor and lead complex, multi-disciplinary programmes spanning data science, engineering, operations technology and organisational change, maintaining focus on value realisation and client outcomes.
  • Commercial growth: Originate and shape opportunities across industrial, consumer goods, energy, life sciences and other asset-intensive sectors; lead proposition development, value case design and executive engagement.
  • Ecosystem and capability: Work closely with Accenture's broader Data & AI organisation and global network of hubs and Centres of Excellence, leveraging and contributing to our assets, offerings and delivery capabilities to shape and scale a differentiated UKI Physical AI and agentic operations proposition. Collaborate with technology partners including NVIDIA, Microsoft, AWS, Siemens, Rockwell and others to bring differentiated Physical AI capabilities to clients, while building. Build the AI and data talent pipeline within the Value Chain practice.
  • Thought leadership: Publish, speak and represent Accenture's Physical AI and operational intelligence agenda externally, building market profile and practitioner community.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

You are a credible, senior Data and AI practitioner who combines deep technical knowledge with an understanding of physical operations, supply chain or manufacturing environments. You can lead client conversations at the executive level, and you build trust through both expertise and delivery track record.

  • Experience: 10 to 15 years in data science, machine learning, AI engineering or related disciplines, with significant exposure to industrial, operational or supply chain environments through consulting, technology or industry roles.
  • Physical AI and agentic operations expertise: Hands-on understanding of Physical AI applications such as computer vision, predictive and prescriptive analytics for physical assets, robotics or autonomous systems, industrial IoT, edge AI deployment, and Digital Twinsor digital twins connected to real-world processes. Experience connecting AI agents, orchestration engines and operational systems to support decision-making and increasingly autonomous operations is highly valued.
  • Supply chain and operations fluency: Practical understanding of manufacturing, logistics, procurement or operational processes, sufficient to engage credibly with operational leaders and translate AI capability into value.
  • Technical depth: Experience with modern AI and ML platforms such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Azure ML and AWS SageMaker, data architecture and pipelines, and integration with OT, SCADA or ERP systems. Familiarity with NVIDIA platforms, edge computing or robotics frameworks is a strong advantage.
  • Accenture AI ecosystem connectivity: Ability to work effectively across a global Data & AI organisation, mobilising hubs, Centres of Excellence, reusable assets and offerings, and translating global capability into a scalable and differentiated UKI proposition.
  • Delivery and leadership: Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programmes and senior stakeholder relationships. Experience managing and developing data and AI teams.
  • Commercial acumen: Track record of shaping compelling propositions and value cases, identifying growth opportunities and contributing to client development activities.
  • Sector breadth: Cross-industry experience is valued. Relevant sectors include Industrials and Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Energy and Utilities, Life Sciences, Logistics and Retail.
  • Communication and credentials: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical senior audiences. A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science or equivalent; advanced qualifications or recognised AI and ML credentials are an advantage.
