Accenture's Operational Technology Security practice protects critical infrastructure and industrial environments from cyber threats across diverse sectors: Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Natural Resources, Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Defence. We're looking for an experienced OT Cyber Security Senior Manager to take ownership of complex security programmes, lead client engagements, and build our team's technical capability.

You'll work with both Critical National Infrastructure clients and industrial organisations solving sophisticated OT security challenges. Reporting to the Head of OT Cyber Security, you'll operate UK-wide with hybrid arrangements (typically 2-3 days per month in our London office, with additional client site visits as needed).

What You'll Do:

Client Delivery & Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of OT security projects in regulated environments, managing timelines, budgets, and security standards

  • Act as primary point of contact for client stakeholders, building trust-based relationships and ensuring seamless execution

  • Conduct cybersecurity strategy assessments, readiness evaluations, and discovery workshops using industry frameworks and compliance mandates

  • Identify and articulate risks at project, business, and technical levels, delivering proportionate, cost-effective mitigation strategies

Technical Expertise

  • Perform detailed analysis of Industrial Control Systems (SCADA, DCS, IIoT) architecture, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements

  • Design and implement robust cybersecurity solutions tailored to ICS environments

  • Develop ICS security control frameworks incorporating industry best practices and international standards (NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443)

  • Create key deliverables including threat and risk assessments, security policies, procedures, assurance management plans, and compliance evidence

Team Development & Growth

  • Mentor Accenture team members through both line and matrix management, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and skill-building opportunities

  • Drive business development by identifying opportunities within existing accounts and building new client relationships

  • Contribute to Accenture's thought leadership in OT security through publications, presentations, and client engagements

What You'll Need:

Essential

  • 10+ years of experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity or critical infrastructure security

  • Proven track record leading complex security programmes in regulated industrial environments

  • Deep understanding of Industrial Control Systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC, IIoT) and their unique security challenges

  • Strong familiarity with OT security regulations and frameworks (NIS, NIS2, CAF, CRA)

  • Experience working with both technical teams (engineers, IT) and executive stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical risks into business impact

  • Willingness to travel across the UK as projects require

Highly Valued

  • Professional certifications: GICSP, IEC 62443, CISSP, GRID

  • Experience across multiple sectors: Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Defence, or Critical National Infrastructure

  • Knowledge of security standards including NERC-CIP, IEC 62443, ISA/IEC 62443

  • Background in both advisory and hands-on technical implementation

What We Offer:

  • Work on prestigious projects spanning critical national infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, and defence clients

  • Access to Accenture's global network of security experts and continuous learning opportunities

  • Hybrid working with flexibility around client and project needs

  • Career progression within a rapidly growing OT cyber security practice

  • Inclusive culture that values diverse thinking and boundaryless collaboration

What’s in it for you:

At Accenture in addition to a competitive basic salary, you will also have an extensive benefits package which includes up to 30 days’ vacation per year, private medical insurance and 3 extra days leave per year for charitable work of your choice!
