The Work:

You work as part of a UK H&PS focused team. You will help develop and use pricing strategies and competitive positioning to assist sales teams on complex deals, by:

  • Deal shaping, pricing, rate card architecture and localised competitive intelligence input.

  • Aligning to UKI Health & Public Safety and reporting up to Health & Public Safety Sales leadership.

  • Working with partners where Accenture is partnering with multiple other suppliers either as prime, subcontractor or part of consortium. Role therefore includes building trusted relationships and collaboration with counterparts in partner organisations.

  • Developing knowledge of unique nature of Health & Public Safety tenders and pricing tactics required to submit competitive bids.

  • Helping sales teams/leaders understand client requirements and selection criteria

  • Collaborating with Competitive Intelligence, Analytics, and other internal teams to collect competitive insights.

  • Optimizing both winnability and profitability.

  • Continuously having the desire to self-develop and others.

  • Identifying and applying ways to improve pricing tools and processes

  • Using financial applications, such as Excel, and Accenture pricing models and data analytics tools to inform/create financial structures, price positioning, deal shaping and qualification.

  • Collaborating with teams across Accenture to compile relevant information to support sales proposals.

Here’s what you need:

  • Undergraduate degree

  • English language fluency (oral and written)

  • A minimum of 4 or more years of experience doing similar work including pricing and commercial strategy development

  • Advanced financial acumen

  • Experience in market intelligence and deal shaping

  • Good leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to negotiate

Extra credit if you have:

  • Deep pricing experience

  • Previous sales experience

  • Understanding of Finance processes

You May Also Need:

  • Must be flexible with work hours according to shifting business needs

  • A home office or work area that is suitable for productive remote work, per local guidelines. This includes a safe, ergonomic workspace and a high-speed internet connection that is stable and secure.

  • May be required to travel on rare occasions
