THE OPPORTUNITY

We have a fantastic opportunity for a capable Account Manager ideally with a Live Event background. You’ll be driven by attention to detail, servicing your account, and supporting the Live Experiences work we produce for our clients.

You will predominantly be based in our clients office with occasional logistical duties on-site. You will be working directly with the client as well as the wider internal Client Services and Creative teams, managing the rollout of services and products for various client activities.

As a Live Event focused Account Manager, you will work with automotive dealers to support them in developing localised experiential campaigns, from planning through to delivery and post event evaluation.

This role requires you to work onsite with our client team in Basildon, Essex twice a week.

THE DAY TO DAY

  • Develop the client relationship and collaborate with agency teams to deliver activity that drives agency growth and profile.

  • Take ownership and manage client projects from conception through to delivery, on time, on budget and on brand.

  • Understand the importance of anticipating and communicating problems and opportunities, managing expectations to all parties through a project.

  • Gain a full understanding of target audiences and their relationship with the brand and how to engage them.

  • Take responsibility for managing the production of contact reports, status reports and status meetings.

  • Attend and contribute to meetings with clients.

  • Contribute to the production of an exciting briefing process.

  • Work with planners to articulate strategies and briefs to clients and teams.

  • Drive a shared creative ambition with clients from the outset of a project.

  • Demonstrate an on-going interest in industry leading ideas and emerging trends.

  • Begin to develop an understanding of big picture finances (income, profit, scope, and contract).

  • Begin to negotiate with clients and suppliers on fees and costs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Ideally you will have gained experience within a similar Account Management, Event Management role, within an agency or other fast paced environment.

  • You will be enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated and able to showcase the core Client Services skillset alongside a passion for delivering great work.

  • Be able to articulate the role of a brand within the client portfolio and tell the brand story.

  • A calm and consistent manner when plans change, with the ability to think on your feet.

  • The ability to look beyond the immediate day-to-day and identify potential issues and solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • A desire to achieve high quality standards with strong attention to detail.

  • A self-starter and team player who is solution oriented and knows how to ‘make things happen.’

  • Organisation and the ability to manage, prioritise and juggle multiple projects efficiently is key to this role.

  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders on both the client and agency side.

  • Confidence and the ability to deliver clear, constructive feedback to all teams.
