Security Engineer will sit within our security enterprise team.
The Security Engineer designs, builds, and operates automated security capabilities that reduce risk, improve resilience, and enable secure scaling across the enterprise. This is an individual contributor role focused on security engineering, automation, and cloud native technologies. The engineer translates complex security challenges into reliable, reusable, and scalable technical solutions, supporting the organization’s shift toward autonomous, data driven security.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
Security Architecture and Engineering
- Design and engineer automated security solutions across cloud, infrastructure, and Zero Trust domains.
- Develop reusable tooling, reference architectures, and patterns that enable secure platform and product delivery.
- Apply security as code principles to standardize and scale security controls.
Operational Resilience & Continuous Improvement
- Build and maintain automation for vulnerability management, policy enforcement, configuration validation, hardening, and access management.
- Integrate real-time security signals into dashboards and reporting pipelines to improve visibility and response.
- Partner with engineering teams to enable secure design and accelerate safe deployment through automation and shared tooling.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field experience.
- 5 - 7 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in security engineering, cloud security, or DevSecOps roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Power Automate, or similar).
- Experience integrating and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL).
And we’d love you to…
- Experience with security tooling such as SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, CNAPP, UVM, EDR, WAF, IPS, and NAC.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, Windows and Linux internals, and security metrics and reporting.
Any of the following would be a plus
- Exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC2, NIS2, NIST CSF, CIS, or similar.
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP). #LI-Hybrid
