Regional Sales Manager
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.
We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our France team. In this role, you’ll empower and lead a team of 6 to 10 Business Development Managers (BDMs), setting the pace for new partner acquisitions and driving excellence across the French market.
Get to know our Commercial team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Commercial team. You’ll be a mentor and a strategist, responsible for building a high-performing sales engine that recruits the best restaurant partners to our platform.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Lead & Exceed Targets: Direct your team of BDMs to consistently meet and surpass monthly sales targets, ensuring a strong presence in the field.
Mentor & Develop: Provide continuous feedback and coaching to your team, identifying growth opportunities and helping them navigate complex negotiations.
Drive Operational Excellence: Run weekly meetings to track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales activity, P2P, quality metrics, and conversion rates.
Strategic Growth: Develop and follow data trackers to monitor team performance, creating effective sales methodologies to stay ahead of the competition.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our Onboarding teams to ensure the most sought-after restaurants in France are activated efficiently and effectively.
Culture & Motivation: Cultivate an environment focused on sales excellence and problem-solving, resolving issues quickly to maintain high team morale.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential
Sales Leadership: Significant experience (4+ years) in sales, with at least 2 years specifically in team management.
Language Skills: Proficiency in French and an operational level of English.
Proven Results: A track record of exceeding sales targets and the ability to make decisive calls under pressure.
Coaching & Mentorship: A genuine passion for developing people and the ability to provide tailored feedback for career evolution.
Problem-Solving: Strong skills in resolving complex partner concerns and internal operational challenges.
Nice to Have
Experience in B2B sales within the foodtech or high-growth startup sector.
Familiarity with CRM tools and data visualization dashboards.
