Your mission

As the Senior People Operations Manager at deepset, you will be integral to enhancing the employee experience and driving our success. Joining a dynamic, collaborative but fledgling People team, you'll be part of a mission to cultivate a high-performance culture that drives successful business outcomes. This exciting role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, allowing you to manage essential people processes, support leadership, and contribute to creating an environment where deepsetters can excel. You’ll take ownership for a range of daily operations as well as strategic initiatives that shape our culture and foster engagement. This is an opportunity to scale existing processes while introducing innovative ideas to support our growing team.


You have a strong history of developing and expanding people processes, along with the emotional intelligence to handle complex employee relations issues. Your deep knowledge of HR practices is paired with the creativity to tailor them for a startup setting. Your impact

  • People Operations: Defining our global people operations strategy and overseeing daily operational processes, including Payroll and total rewards

  • Collaboration: You will partner with the global People team, including Talent Acquisition, People Partners, and IT Administration.

  • Process Optimization: Your focus will be on improving and optimizing operational efficiency, with an emphasis on reviewing and refining core HR systems.

  • Compliance: You will also manage regulations across global entities and serve as the primary point of contact for all operational matters.

  • Employee relations: manage employee experience, develop and implement employee policies, strategies and programs.

Your profile

  • You have deep experience shaping the strategy and processes within Human Resources and People Operations.

  • In-depth knowledge of global labor laws (Especially German), HR policies, and management of global entities.

  • Passionate about project management and process optimization.

  • Highly empathetic with a talent for building trust and fostering engagement with stakeholders at all levels.

  • A creative problem solver, skilled in managing diverse projects.

  • Fluent in both English and German (Spoken
