What you’ll do
As a Wholesale Specialist within Vodafone’s Roaming team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the commercial and operational execution of international wholesale roaming agreements. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the global telecommunications ecosystem, working at the intersection of commercial strategy, data analytics, and cross-market collaboration.
You will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and administration of roaming deals, ensuring effective coordination with both third-party operators and internal Vodafone stakeholders. Your analytical capabilities will be key in preparing and enhancing weekly and monthly performance reports, pricing analyses, and ad hoc data requests that inform strategic decisions. You will also contribute to the contracting process, supporting the preparation and review of commercial agreements with external partners.
In addition, you will be involved in the annual planning and budgeting cycle, collaborating with Vodafone markets and wholesale customers to provide forecasting inputs and cost modelling. Your role will include monitoring traffic data to identify fraudulent or suspicious activity, developing business case presentations, and supporting the communication of deal information across markets. This is a hands-on, data-driven role that will allow you to develop a strong foundation in commercial operations, stakeholder engagement, and international roaming strategy.
Who you are
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated analytical acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Work Environment Adaptability: Proven stakeholder management capabilities and a collaborative mindset, especially in cross-functional and multicultural environments. Comfortable working in ambiguous and fast-paced settings, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Industry Knowledge: Initial exposure or academic experience related to international roaming or telecommunications is a strong advantage.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus but not required.
- Education: A higher education degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
