Hybrid

We believe that through collaboration and connection with our colleagues we can achieve great things. Our hybrid working approach allows our people to work both in the office and at home, providing the flexibility and resources you need to succeed in your role. We don't require you to be in on specific days; instead, we ask people to come into the office 2-3 days each week, for at least 8 days per month. You should work with your line manager to understand what their expectations are for you, your specific role and your team.

Who We Are

We’re here to build a network the UK can count on – one that connects people, places and potential. Because no matter where you live, what your background is, or how you get online – we think everyone deserves the same chance to stay connected, and with VodafoneThree, that future’s being built – today.

We’re creating more than the UK’s best network. We’re helping close the digital divide, empower communities and drive meaningful progress.

We believe that everyone should feel they belong. Whoever you are and whatever your story, there’s space for you here. We’re building a workplace where different perspectives are welcomed, voices are heard, and everyone feels safe to show up as themselves.

You’ll join a team that genuinely cares – about each other, about our customers, and about the future we’re building. From day one, you’ll be welcomed, valued and encouraged to bring your whole self to work.

Why VodafoneThree

Join us and you’ll be at the heart of change. That means building responsibly, investing sustainably and creating opportunities that last.

We’re not just expanding connectivity; we’re reimagining what a connected nation looks like. With £11bn invested in 5G and digital infrastructure, your work will directly power businesses, services, and communities across the country.

You’ll work on real challenges, with real impact, across every corner of the country. Wherever you join us, whatever your role, you’ll be helping to build a future that works better for everyone.

We move at pace, because what we’re building matters – and we’re learning as we go. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but we’re just getting started.

Join us at the heart of our business in Corporate, one of the central support functions that underpin our business and keep us moving forward. We provide centralised support, expertise and guidance across our UK and Group operations, continuing to build on our success and trailblazing the way to our next stage of digital growth.

What you’ll do

At VodafoneThree, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the future of the UK's largest mobile network while playing a key role in protecting the privacy of millions of customers. Working closely with the Privacy Lead Counsel & DPO, you’ll support the business in navigating a complex and evolving regulatory landscape, providing practical privacy guidance that enables innovation, manages risk, and builds trust. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the organisation, contribute to strategic initiatives, and help create privacy practices that are simple, effective, and scalable.

You will:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality privacy advice across a wide range of business initiatives, helping VodafoneThree meet its data protection obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Guide stakeholders through Privacy by Design principles, ensuring privacy considerations are embedded into products, services, and business processes from the outset.
  • Lead and support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), helping teams identify risks and implement appropriate mitigations.
  • Assess and support the management of personal data breaches, providing balanced and pragmatic guidance on regulatory obligations and risk management.
  • Monitor privacy compliance activities and contribute to maintaining robust governance frameworks across the business.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions, ensuring advice is commercially focused, practical, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across VodafoneThree to support strategic programmes and enable positive customer and business outcomes.
  • Help identify, assess, and mitigate privacy risks, championing best practice and a proactive risk management culture.
  • Contribute to assurance activities that protect the organisation against regulatory, financial, and reputational risks.
  • Support the development and delivery of privacy training, guidance materials, and awareness initiatives that empower teams to make informed decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by helping to simplify processes, increase automation, improve scalability, and enhance self-service privacy capabilities across the organisation.
  • Keep up to date with emerging privacy legislation, regulatory developments, and industry trends, sharing insights and recommendations with colleagues.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team environment by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and helping to build a culture of continuous learning and development.

Who you are

  • Experience working within data protection, privacy compliance, and Privacy by Design environments.
  • Demonstrated experience completing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and conducting privacy risk assessments.
  • Experience independently assessing and supporting the management of personal data breaches.
  • Strong understanding of UK and applicable data protection legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience working within a B2C organisation handling large volumes of customer data.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications, technology, or digital services sectors and an awareness of relevant legal and regulatory developments.
  • A degree, recognised privacy qualification, or equivalent practical experience in the privacy and data protection field.
  • The ability to balance privacy risk with commercial objectives, offering pragmatic and proportionate solutions that support business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify key issues, interpret complex information, and provide clear recommendations.
  • Confidence communicating complex privacy matters to a range of audiences in a straightforward and engaging way.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse organisation.
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for partnering with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the confidence to take ownership of your work while seeking support and guidance when needed.
  • A commitment to continuous learning, personal development, and embracing new challenges.
  • A passion for creating inclusive, customer-focused outcomes and contributing to a positive team culture where everyone can thrive.
