What you'll do
You'll join our Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) team, which delivers cyber security and secure technology solutions that help government, public sector, defence, and critical national infrastructure stay resilient, connected, and safeguarded against evolving threats.
As a Commercial and financial apprentice, you’ll play your part in helping VodafoneThree make confident commercial decisions by providing insights and financial analysis that improve revenue & profitability from existing customer contracts, and support new business opportunities.
You will:
- Get hands‑on with real commercial information, help build forecasts and understand what drives revenue, costs, and profit.
- Support pricing and cost modelling for new deals and updates to existing customer contracts.
- Help draft, review, and maintain commercial agreements, gaining valuable exposure to business deals.
- Prepare clear, engaging inputs for monthly finance and commercial reviews, including dashboards and insights.
- Use your natural analytical abilities to give valuable insights to the business.
- Assist with billing and collections activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.
Alongside your day-to-day role, you’ll study toward a Level 4 Accounting Technician apprenticeship, delivered by one of our trusted training partners.
Who you are
- Great with numbers and detail, with strong analytical skills and the ability to spot patterns.
- Curious and commercially minded, with an interest in how deals, contracts, and business strategy work.
- You’re great at staying organised, juggling tasks, setting priorities, and planning your work so you always stay ahead.
- You must hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English & Maths at Grade 4/C or above by September 2026.
- Must meet UK Government apprenticeship levy funding eligibility requirements.
This position requires the ability to obtain and hold UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
