What you’ll do
The VAS Assurance Associate Engineer is responsible for providing 1st level support and troubleshooting for Value-Added Services (VAS) within the mobile domain, as well as for the Prepay platform. This role focuses on resolving technical and commercial trouble tickets while maintaining an in-depth understanding of the services delivered to Vodafone customers.
The successful candidate will proactively escalate and manage issues that may impact service performance, ensuring their availability, stability, and quality. This position requires strong technical coordination and effective communication with internal teams, Customer Operations and Experience units, roaming partners, and third-party service providers.
More specifically you will:
- Troubleshoot technical and commercial customer complaints within the defined scope areas.
- Handle incidents by acting as the Service Desk for network-related issues.
- Perform daily operational activities related to the provisioning of prepaid and value-added services (VAS).
- Execute and monitor work orders to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Contribute to the development, enhancement, and smooth operation of mobile services.
- Prepare and deliver reports to support operational transparency and continuous improvement.
Who you are
- Self-motivation, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and an innovative mindset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines under pressure, and actively contribute to a collaborative team culture.
- At least 1 year of experience in telecommunications or computer systems (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Fundamental understanding and practical experience with network technologies such as GSM, SS7, LTE, and 5G.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages, including VBA, Shell scripting, etc.
- Experience with CRM systems & LLM-based scripting is nice to have
