About this role

We are seeking a User Experience Designer to lead standalone UX projects and optimise core online journeys across the Group Enterprise portfolio. The individual will be responsible for creating clear, engaging, and customer-centric experiences that improve conversion rates, task completion, and Net Promoter Score (NPS). This role requires a strong grasp of UX principles, research methodologies, and stakeholder management, with a focus on delivering impactful design solutions aligned with business goals.

What you’ll do

  • Lead UX design efforts across multiple sites and projects, adhering to established standards and KPIs.
  • Communicate and manage stakeholder engagement on the UX roadmap to ensure business alignment.
  • Influence Product Managers to align technology capabilities with strategic goals.
  • Manage digital creative agencies and ensure output meets Group Commercial and EO UX standards.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research including interviews, surveys, market analysis, and web analytics.
  • Create personas and analyse customer segments to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define strategy, site architecture, navigation, and user flows.
  • Participate in usability testing and evaluations to enhance user experience.
  • Balance user-centric design with business requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders across multiple markets and organisational levels.

Who you are

  • Minimum seven years’ experience in online roles, with at least five years in Usability, Information Architecture, or Design.
  • Proven experience in UX/Interaction Design and/or Information Architecture.
  • Strong understanding of mobile and web best practices, responsive design, and device optimisation.
  • Commercial experience in Marketing, eCommerce, or Product Management.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Skilled in wireframing, prototyping, and using content management systems (e.g., Adobe, Oracle WCS/WCP).
  • Familiarity with online analytics tools such as Web Trends or Omniture Site Catalyst.
  • Strong comprehension of information architecture, usability methodologies, and editorial disciplines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, e-commerce, or web-related discipline.
