About this Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead testing initiatives within the BQA department. This role involves overseeing test strategy, resource allocation, defect triaging, and stakeholder reporting. The individual will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance across telecom applications, particularly within billing, mediation, CRM, and online media portals. The role demands strong domain expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage demand versus capacity effectively.

What you’ll do

  • Gather and interpret testing requirements.
  • Develop and review test strategies, plans, and coverage.
  • Allocate resources across multiple projects and monitor capacity utilisation.
  • Lead defect triaging and ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare and present dashboards and reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure test KPIs are met and risks are communicated effectively.
  • Track actual versus forecasted burn rates for test projects.
  • Support service transition plans through knowledge transfer.
  • Manage availability of test resources, including cover for absences.

Who you are

  • Over 10 years of experience in telecom testing, particularly in billing, mediation, CRM, or online media portals.
  • Proven leadership experience in software quality assurance.
  • ISTQB Practitioner accreditation or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Quality Centre, Jira, SQL, Unix, ALM.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Experience in Testing COE or similar setups.
  • Skilled in demand vs capacity management.
  • Comfortable working in multicultural and matrix environments.
  • Ability to manage international teams and deliver in challenging settings.
