Role Purpose

The role of the Fraud & Reporting Sr. analyst is to investigate, analyse, manage, and respond to alerts of different Fraud types, develop mandatory reporting to external stakeholders such as CBE and partner bank, utilize insights to assure Anti-Fraud fulfilment to CBE/NTRA Fraud requirements.

Main responsibility is to protect VF-EG against risk of violation to CBE Fraud related requirements that might lead to regulatory, financial, or legal consequences.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

  • Ensure proper analysis and responsive actions for all relevant fraud alerts within SLA.
  • Maintain and assure completion of the daily monitoring & control framework activities.
  • Responsible for development of all mandatory reporting to internal stakeholders, partner Bank & CBE,
  • Responsible for analysing trends of alerts and fraud cases for minimizing number of fraud cases and relevant implications.
  • Respond to fulfil all Bank/CBE inquiries and attend relevant meetings in alignment with relevant stakeholders.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or Data analytics.
  • Experience in the banking fraud field, financial services or Mobile Money is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical & Communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail is required.
