About this Role

We are seeking a Digital Transformation Support Analyst to support the maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of automation solutions and digital tools within Core Transport. Based in Pune and reporting to the Transformation Manager, this role is ideal for individuals with a foundation in automation, scripting, APIs, and database management who are passionate about enabling operational efficiency and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will provide first-line support for automation-related issues, collaborate with operational teams, and contribute to the delivery of reliable and effective automation solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Act as the first point of contact for automation-related queries and technical issues, ensuring timely resolution or appropriate escalation.
  • Support the day-to-day operation, stability, and performance of automation tools, workflows, and scripts.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to gather requirements, document processes, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Assist in testing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting automation solutions to ensure quality and business alignment.
  • Maintain accurate records of automation assets, incidents, changes, and related documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of user guides, training materials, and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Participate in operational reviews and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency and support transformation objectives.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating scripts and automated processes under guidance.
  • Support adherence to SLA, KPI, and process governance requirements.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of emerging automation technologies and digital tools.

Who you are

  • Experienced in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Possess a basic understanding of process automation and digital technologies.
  • Demonstrate basic proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with additional scripting or programming languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Java is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of working with APIs and systems integration concepts.
  • Understanding of database management and SQL.
  • Exposure to DevOps, software engineering environments, process analysis, or testing is desirable.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication and collaborative working skills.Adaptable, proactive, and keen to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Able to work UK hours on an early and late rota basis.
