What you’ll do

We are seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our Data & BI domain evolution and the modernization to Google Cloud.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex solutions that drive business growth and your expertise will be crucial in designing and guiding the solutions delivered by our BI team.

You´ll be in charge of the following:

  • Communicate the value of data on all levels and participate actively in shaping the vision and strategy of the Data and BI domain.
  • Accountable for end-to-end technical architecture and solutions in the BI, data and visualization area.
  • Manage and enhance the current framework of principles and guidelines, build a consistent target roadmap for the evolution of the systems in the area of responsibility in alignment with the enterprise architecture strategy.
  • Continuously evaluate the implications of the main projects impacting the domain and align these with the target architecture and the modernization initiatives on the evolution roadmap of the domain.
  • Coordinate from technical perspective strategic projects, participate in all phases from inception to execution, understand the requirements and use cases, collaborate with the architects from other domains and business stakeholders.
  • Define robust and scalable high-level technical solutions for the data warehouse and reporting initiatives that are in line with the company and industry architectural principles.
  • Provide technical recommendations to delivery team members and create comprehensive architecture and solution documentation.
  • Follow the correct implementation of the solution through the delivery process.
  • Review current solutions and suggest improvements, advocate for innovation and modernization.
  • Foresee scalability, maintainability, and security issues.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or technical domain.
  • Previous experience as a Data Solution Architect
  • Wide experience in designing complex technical solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Experience leading technical implementations with a focus on the data platforms, analytics and visualization.
  • Experience in Cloud migrations and implementations, preferably Google Cloud.
  • Solid knowledge of development processes, standards, and best practices.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Data warehouse implementations, data modelling and data processing technologies
  • Solid experience working with database systems (eg. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MsSql etc.), ETL tools (eg. Informatica PowerCenter etc.)
  • Experience with Cloud technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS etc.)
  • Capacity to understand technically complex situations and to adapt to new technologies and tools, problem-solving mindset.
