About this Role

We are seeking an experienced digital workplace leader to define, own, and evolve the global strategy for Digital Workplace Foundations across Vodafone. This role carries end-to-end accountability for the design, delivery, and continuous operation of core digital workplace services that enable a seamless, secure, and productive experience for the global workforce. The role operates at enterprise scale, shaping technology strategy, translating business demand into robust solutions, and ensuring reliable service delivery at optimal cost while supporting transformation and commercialisation opportunities for VOIS.

What you will do

  • Define and lead the global strategy and roadmap for Digital Workplace Foundations, aligned with Vodafone Technology Strategy and enterprise architecture.
  • Own end-to-end product development and product ownership for Digital Workplace Foundations services, from demand intake through to live operations.
  • Ensure stable, secure, and reliable delivery of core services, including Microsoft 365, identity and access management, endpoint platforms, and device lifecycle solutions, at agreed service levels.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical designs that meet enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead continuous service improvement, driving simplification, consolidation, and cost efficiency across the portfolio.
  • Establish and govern operating models, SLAs, OLAs, and performance frameworks using KPIs and benchmarking.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, local markets, suppliers, system integrators, and strategic partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide executive-level reporting, positioning papers, and briefings to senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Manage financial planning, forecasting, and budgets for a multi-million-euro global services portfolio.
  • Develop, coach, and grow a high-performing, globally distributed team, fostering capability development, trust, and clear accountability.

Who you are

  • A seasoned digital workplace professional with extensive experience designing, delivering, and operating large-scale enterprise services in complex, multinational environments.
  • Confident in shaping and executing IT and product strategies that balance user experience, security, resilience, and cost effectiveness.
  • Deeply knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 services, identity and access management, endpoint platforms, and modern workplace architectures.
  • Experienced in supplier and partner management, with the ability to influence outcomes through collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
  • Comfortable operating at executive level, communicating clearly and credibly through presentations, reports, and strategic papers.
  • Skilled in building inclusive, high-performing teams and developing capability through coaching, upskilling, and cross-training.
  • Experienced in financial and budget management, business case development, and value realisation.
  • Background in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
