About this Role

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with experience in test automation frameworks, ReadyAPI (SoapUI Pro), SQL, and automated regression testing to support and enhance a Delphi-based application landscape. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Quality Assurance, Development, and business teams to improve software quality through the maintenance, development, and execution of automated test solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to expanding test coverage, maintaining existing test assets, and ensuring reliable automated testing within business-critical processes.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework using VBScript (UFT) and Groovy (ReadyAPI).
• Create new automated test cases for GUI and service components based on design documentation.
• Execute automated test cases and analyse test results.
• Document test outcomes and communicate findings effectively to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain and optimise the existing automated test suite.
• Support automated regression testing activities and their integration into business processes.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Development, and business teams to achieve strong test coverage and product quality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing and development lifecycle.
• Work with version control systems such as Git to support test asset management and collaboration.

Who you are

• Experience in test automation and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with ReadyAPI (SoapUI Pro).
• Good understanding of SQL.
• Experience managing automated regression test suites and integrating them into business processes.
• Experience using version control tools such as Git.
• Basic understanding of software development processes.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a structured and analytical manner.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and quality-focused approach.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with test management tools such as ALM, Jira, or Xray.
• Experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
• Basic knowledge of VBScript.
• Experience in Groovy scripting.
• German language skills would be advantageous.
