About this role

12 month FTCWe are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting professional to lead the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for Vodafone Ireland. This role is based in Dublin with a hybrid working model and reports to the Head of Financial Operations. You will ensure strong governance, robust controls, and foster team development while driving continuous improvement and efficiency across reporting processes.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial reporting professionals, creating an environment of support and accountability.
  • Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting with strong governance.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and Vodafone reporting standards, proactively adapting to regulatory changes.
  • Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting, identifying risks and driving effective resolutions.
  • Deliver clear, insightful reporting for senior stakeholders, transforming complex data into actionable narratives.
  • Drive process improvements through simplification and automation, collaborating with Finance and IT teams for system upgrades.
  • Support cash delivery priorities and contribute to overall financial performance

Who you are

  • A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience as a people leader with a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and confidence in managing complex accounting topics with senior stakeholders.
  • Calm and structured in approach, able to deliver under deadlines while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, with a focus on making processes simpler, stronger, and more efficient.
