About this Role
We are seeking an MSAT Network Service Assurance Engineer to support Vodafone’s Mobile Service Assurance Team (MSAT), focusing on customer-impacting mobile network incidents across Vodafone’s existing network and the newly integrated VodafoneThree footprint. - Collaborate with second-line support teams, engineering functions, and external partners to resolve complex network issues.
- Escalate incidents appropriately where resolution is outside MSAT scope, ensuring clear accountability and follow-through.
- Provide accurate, timely, and high-quality updates in ticketing and operational reporting tools.
- Support service recovery activities to restore customer services at pace and with minimal disruption.
- Identify recurring fault trends and contribute to continuous improvement of fault handling processes.
- Maintain documentation and actively support knowledge sharing within the team.
Who you are
- An analytical and detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of mobile network operations.
- Experienced in telecommunications technologies such as GSM, LTE, and 5G, with awareness across RAN and Core domains.
- Comfortable interpreting end-to-end service flows for voice, data, and messaging services.
- Familiar with signalling protocols and interfaces (including Diameter, GTP, SIP, SS7, HTTP/2, PFCP, and 4G/5G core interfaces) to support effective troubleshooting.
- Confident working in ticket-driven, reactive environments while managing multiple incidents simultaneously.
- A collaborative team contributor with clear and effective communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to deliver results under pressure.
