The main purpose of the role is to act as an interface between external clients and the IT project implementation department. The Business Analyst coordinates the gathering of requirements, analyzes the needs of external clients (users of IT applications), describes the business architecture, current situation, and desired future state, and provides support for all phases of an IT project. The role assists external clients in achieving their business objectives with the help of IT systems.

What you’ll do

  • Gathering Requirements: Collect requirements from external clients (users of IT applications) by organizing and participating in interviews, work meetings, and focus groups to determine functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze the business requirements of users and provide consultancy to translate them into system requirements. Ensure understanding and validation with all project team members.
  • Project Coordination: Act as a project coordinator during the analysis phase and validate the project analysis. Ensure all external client requirements are included in the analysis document.
  • Consultancy: Provide consultancy for impact analysis and design made by vendors, ensuring user requirements are respected. Explain the technical solution to obtain approval for the analysis document.
  • Support: Offer support to allocated resources in all project phases, including the testing period. Understand user needs and requirements.
  • Business Architecture: Define the business architecture, capture the usual business vocabulary, and structure the business usage model. Act as an expert for other business areas.
  • Process Improvement: Use experience and skills to make recommendations for improving current technological processes. Ensure compliance with agreed SLA's.

Who you are

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project (advantageous), Office, Visio, and UML (advantageous). Familiarity with modeling tools like Aris (preferred).
  • Project Management Knowledge: Basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Telecommunications Knowledge: Basic knowledge of fixed telecommunications services (preferred).
  • Business Management Skills: Ability to manage business requirements in technological innovation projects and the introduction of new services to the market.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Process Mapping Skills: Knowledge of mapping processes in process diagrams.
  • Company Processes Understanding: Good understanding of key company processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and understand IT systems.
  • Educational Requirements: University Degree.
