About this Role

We are seeking a skilled SAP Finance Functional Consultant to join our ERP team in Pune. The individual will be responsible for architecting SAP FICO solutions tailored to business needs, configuring modules, and integrating systems across SAP and third-party platforms. This role demands strong expertise in financial processes, taxation, and SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions in an agile environment.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial processes and reporting requirements.
  • Configure SAP FI and CO modules including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, asset accounting, cost centre accounting, profitability analysis, and banking (payments).
  • Implement and configure taxation and withholding tax (WHT), with a clear understanding of direct and indirect tax implications.
  • Provide solutions for accounting entries related to MM and SD transactions.
  • Integrate SAP FICO with other SAP modules (SD, MM, Asset) and external systems.
  • Work extensively on RICEFs, interface development, enhancements, reports, and data migration tools.
  • Prepare functional and technical specifications, test scripts, and support rollout activities.
  • Operate effectively in agile environments to meet evolving business needs.

Who you are

  • Proficient in SAP S/4HANA with a strong grasp of financial accounting and controlling concepts.
  • Experience with SAP modules such as REFX, FSCM, FICA, Concur, and Group Reporting is advantageous.
  • Skilled in developing reports and analytics dashboards for financial insights.
  • Familiar with release and change management processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Able to manage development phases, rollouts, and data migration projects.
