Role Purpose

The RPA Developer will work cross-functionally with business operations and business analysts to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that automate business processes, improve efficiency, reduce errors, and support digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities
  • Design RPA solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
  • Develop, configure, and test RPA bots using approved RPA tools (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure process accuracy and value realization
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution for bots
  • Deploy automations to production and monitor performance
  • Maintain, enhance, and support existing RPA solutions
  • Ensure bots comply with security, governance, and compliance standards

Competencies

  • Proficiency in RPA platforms (UiPath / Automation Anywhere / Blue Prism)
  • Strong understanding of process automation concepts
  • Experience with scripting or programming (e.g. VB.NET, Python, Java, or C#)
  • Knowledge of APIs, databases, and system integrations
  • Understanding of exception handling, logging, and bot orchestration

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fieldPA certification (e.g. UiPath Certified Professional, Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional) – advantageous
  • 3–5 years’ experience in RPA or software development (depending on seniority
