What you’ll do
With us, you can design and deliver fair, transparent and data‑led reward solutions that support how we attract, engage and retain talent in Vodafone Ireland.
As a Reward Specialist reporting to the Head of Reward, you’ll be part of a specialised Centre of Excellence within the Vodafone Ireland HR team, responsible for shaping and delivering differentiated, best practice solutions across reward, recognition, pensions and benefits. Your role will focus on delivering end‑to‑end reward management, ensuring our frameworks are competitive, compliant and commercially aligned to our people and business strategy.
You’ll support the design and implementation of total reward strategy, policies and programmes, and manage key elements of the annual reward cycle including salary reviews, bonus, share awards, benefits and recognition. Alongside this, you’ll maintain and evolve reward policies, processes and governance to ensure they remain aligned with company strategy, market practice and legal requirements, including leading projects such as EU Pay Transparency, Gender Pay Gap reporting and broader pay equity initiatives.
You’ll work closely with Finance to support reward budgeting and cost alignment, contributing to DB planning and delivering headcount and employee cost reporting, analysis and insights to inform decision‑making. You’ll maintain reward dashboards and ensure strong data integrity across all reporting outputs.
You’ll lead job evaluation, levelling and job architecture governance,and deliver market benchmarking and reward surveys to ensure competitive positioning.You’ll also support the delivery of benefits programmes, including annual enrolment, and design and evolve both financial and non‑financial recognition schemes to maximise employee value,drive engagement and align with business priorities,while ensuring pensions and broader benefits offerings are effectively managed and communicated.
Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll provide expert reward guidance to HRBPs and business leaders, coaching them on reward principles, tools and decision‑making. You’ll collaborate with HR Services and external providers to deliver efficient operations, while managing and supporting international mobility processes and policies for assignees.
Using your analytical expertise, you’ll interpret data and provide practical, insight‑led recommendations to leadership and HR teams, with a focus on efficiency and cost effectiveness.You’ll continuously improve reward processes, controls and documentation in line with our simplicity strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage automation and AI to enhance how we work.
Who we are looking for
- Experience in reward, HR, finance or data analytics
- Proven expertise in reward operations, data analysis and reporting
- Experience in job evaluation, benchmarking and reward governance
- Strong capability in completing and interpreting reward surveys
- A commercial mindset with the ability to balance business and employee needs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical capability, with confidence using data (including Excel) to generate insights and recommendations
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics
- A sense of curiosity and integrity in how you approach your work
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on best practice, simplicity and efficiency
- A passion for using your expertise to develop innovative solutions that add value to the business
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and across the wider organisation
