What you’ll do

• Ensures clarity around priorities and goals for the entire function
• Motivates the team members to support the best NPS
• Updates management about the team's progress
• Manages development plans to enable the teams to achieve their objectives
• Creates the vision of what to do and how to do it to be the leader in the market
• Works across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals
• Defines and manages support strategies to have the most efficient benefit
• Manages root cause analyses and ensures corrective actions are taken
• Ensures the team works in a proactive way to prevent incidents
• Manages overall financial budgeting for functions
• Manages capacity expansions
• Manages hardware & software upgrades to provide 100% service availability
• To apply requested changes by taking into account change management and Maximo workflows in accordance with the minimum customer impact
• To ensure preparation of reports after an incident with root cause analyses, lessons learned and preventive actions
• To take necessary preventive actions to keep within the specified network performance threshold for the RAN network
• Ensure that current configurations comply with templates
• Ensure that standardisation increases to meet the zero configuration error target
• Ensure that all significant and critical changes will be made in the maintenance window
• Managethe training needs of team members
• Ensure that VF HSE&W procedures are implemented and work carried out in compliance with local HSE regulations.
• Ensure that work-associated risks are assessed and reduced so far as is reasonably practicable
• Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library,
• Report all suspected security and/or policy breaches, potential security risks to VF TR Corporate Security,
• Protect user accounts and associated passwords, and accept accountability for any actions performed via the usage of those accounts.
• Ensure that VFTR BCM policy /standard, procedures, and plans are implemented and work carried out in compliance with BS 25999 -2:2007 Standard
• Ensure that BCM risks are assessed and mitigated so far as is reasonably practicable in VFTR Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
• Ensure VTR BCMS by planning, establishing, embedding, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving within VFTR

Who you are

• Degree qualified in a Science or an Engineering discipline
• Min 10years of network experience (plus minimum 3 years of management experience)
• Team management skills and experience
• Significant experience in Data Network planning and design activities
• Deep understanding of Data network and Security.
• Good understanding of Signalling, 2G/4G/5G Data services
• Strong planning & organizing skills
• Fluent English
• Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
• Technical qualification in a network-related subject and relevant accreditations from a network supplier
• Guide the other departments to ensure service quality
• Support the field teams to improve performance and availability
• Prepare the needed reports to show the effects of the major CM changes
