About this Role

We are seeking a Functional Consultant to design, deliver, and support a custom-built, AWS-hosted Price Manager and Catalog Management application integrated with SAP and other enterprise systems. This role involves analysing business processes, creating functional specifications, and supporting the full Waterfall delivery lifecycle. While SAP configuration knowledge is not mandatory, strong expertise in pricing, contracts, catalogues, and procurement-related processes is essential. The position also requires active involvement in DevOps support for live applications, including incident resolution and continuous improvement.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with the EVO Application Development team to deliver enhancements and support for the Price Manager / Catalog Management application.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements, analyse pricing and contract processes, and translate needs into functional specifications.
  • Design scalable, compliant, and integration-ready functional solutions.
  • Work closely with technical teams to clarify functional logic and resolve integration or data flow issues.
  • Support the Waterfall lifecycle, including requirement discussions, functional design, testing, UAT coordination, and defect resolution.
  • Act as a functional bridge between business users, developers, and operations teams.
  • Participate in DevOps activities such as production issue analysis, bug fixes, root cause analysis, and post-deployment support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by creating reusable solution assets and documentation.

Who you are

  • Strong domain knowledge in contracts, commercial agreements, material and service pricing, discounts, rebates, price conditions, and BoM-driven pricing or catalogues.
  • Proven experience in business process analysis and functional solutioning for custom enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience in Waterfall delivery methodology, including requirements gathering, functional design documentation, test case preparation, and UAT support.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills and ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting live applications in production environments, with strong problem-solving skills for incident handling and defect analysis.
  • Desired: Exposure to AWS-hosted applications, microservices architecture, Angular/React concepts, and SAP/non-SAP integrations.
