Job Description

Your day to day:

You will drive OSS transformation initiatives which will enable and accelerate the evolution towards a convergent/cloudified network and services management in line with our Tech 2025 objectives. A major focus of this role will be centred around OSS simplification and harmonisation with an ambition to modernise the current OSS environment.

You will plan, structure and lead complex technical OSS cross-functional projects in a multinational environment. Leads from a technical perspective cross-functional teams and ensures that the implemented solutions are delivered according to the expectations of the stakeholders. Managing (partially of fully) the phases of a project from the initiation, scope definition and delivery planning, continuing with the actual implementation, monitoring the performance and status of deliverables, to formal project closing.

•You will support current OSS transformation initiatives such as Vector projects or Simplification through the definition of a transformation roadmap, by following the architectural blueprint and reviewing or creating the high/low level design documents

•You will ensure support for technical (specifications) alignment with the related verticals, both inside and outside of Group Networks

•You will manage all the phases of OSS projects after the feasibility study was performed and the budget was approved. These phases include development, testing, acceptance and implementation of SW and HW for various OSS systems.

•You will lead the analysys related to transformation projects, presents reports/statistics, identifies and evaluates key issues and comes with mitigation proposals

•You will evaluate the impact of the ongoing OSS projects on the operational processes, comes with proposals of integrating the impact by adjusting and optimizing the processes and procedures.

•You will ensure the development of new methods and working processes according to the business needs of the end users.

•You will conduct briefing sessions for relevant managers and key stakeholders in order to facilitate the decisional process.

•You have a deep knowledge of telecommunications at European level

•You have a deep knowledge of the most common architecture frameworks in the sector

•Stakeholders management and influecing skills

•Own staff management, motivation, training and development

•Strong cost and performance orientation

•Capacity for working transeversally between multifunctional and multicultural limits for delivering results and change

•Excellent knowledge of supplier management, project management methodologies, i.e. Prince2 or PMP

•Good knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), OSS Architecture (TMForum: Open Digital Architecture, eTOM) and ITIL Framework

•Excellent skills in Communication and Stakeholder Management

•Customer oriented
