What You’ll Do
The Messaging Services Engineer role within the Group Network Engineering & Delivery function is crucial for satisfying both local and global marketing requirements in the area of Messaging Services. This includes SMS, MMS, Voicemail, and IP Messaging evolution. The engineer will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing solutions to meet marketing needs and technological advancements within the European Region. Additionally, the role involves coordinating vendor activities during project deployment to ensure timely market delivery and compliance with user requirements. The engineer will also oversee the certification process to guarantee high-quality product and solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for Messaging Services, including certification, testing activities, and post-deployment support.
• Define and dimension Messaging Services architecture1.
• Select and manage providers.
• Drive cross-functional projects and alignment, particularly with commercial and security teams.
  

Who You Are
The ideal candidate for the Messaging Services Engineer role should possess a strong technical background in telecommunications, particularly in Core Network, Value Added Services, and Network Function Virtualisation.

They should have a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects and be adept at understanding and addressing marketing needs and market evolution.

Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate excellent collaboration skills, working effectively in a multi-cultural environment and delivering results in a dynamic setting.

Key Qualifications

• High level of written and spoken English.
• Extensive knowledge of telecoms technologies, especially in Messaging Services.
• Strong experience in managing complex and inter-functional project.
