Consultancy support with Network experience to support the Chief Technology in assessing, establishing, and strengthening the Network function within the Vodacom.

To have expertise in network strategy, architecture, planning, engineering governance, network transformation, and technology operating model design. Advice the CTO.

To use experience in fixed and mobile network environments, including network investment planning, governance frameworks, technology roadmap development, and the implementation of large-scale programmes such as 5G, VoLTE, and Fixed Wireless Access while advising the CTO

Key Accountabilities

• Support the CTO in defining and maintaining the organization's technology vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Provide the CTO with data-driven analysis and recommendations for critical decisions.
• Monitor technology performance and ensure effective governance frameworks are in place.
• Drive innovation initiatives that enhance business value and future competitiveness.
• : Ensure people and technology and environmental systems comply with health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and certifications relevant to Vodacom's operations.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols

Competencies

• Ability to think critically and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime.
• CTO council for the six month period. Technical and people skills will be a must.Analytical Skills (including Data Analytics) & Basic IT audit skills (Essential)

Qualifications and Experience

• Postgraduate degree and relevant long term experience behind the qualification
• Masters in Engineering field is an added advantage
• Registration with ECSA – PE.
