What you’ll do

  • Join Vodafone as a Public Sector Business Manager and become the trusted partner for strategic public sector clients.
  • You’ll take ownership of key relationships, ensuring operational excellence and delivering solutions that make a real impact.
  • Acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, you’ll champion the customer experience, resolving challenges, driving improvements, and aligning services with client objectives.
  • From leading business reviews and improvement plans to collaborating on innovative projects and compliance initiatives, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating a seamless, customer-first journey.
  • Your work will influence everything from service delivery and process optimisation to strategic input on tenders and partner engagement, helping us build a more connected, inclusive, and sustainable world.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with assigned client accounts, gaining a deep understanding of their business objectives, and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for urgent issues and escalations, ensuring swift resolution and client satisfaction.

Operational & Commercial Governance

  • Lead weekly check-in calls covering business/commercial activity and operational performance.
  • Facilitate monthly Business Reviews to analyse performance metrics and identify improvement areas.
  • Coordinate Annual Business Meetings, including agenda preparation, communications, and stakeholder engagement.

Customer Satisfaction & Improvement Planning

  • Drive monthly client-led satisfaction assessments across all service areas.
  • Develop and align improvement plans for any areas identified as unsatisfactory.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with IT development teams to ensure customer-facing portals meet operational and usability standards.
  • Lead internal discussions focused on process improvement and service delivery enhancements.
  • Participate in billing-related calls to understand backend operations and post-order fulfilment processes.

Strategic & Project Support

  • Provide strategic input during tender processes, particularly around fulfilment and technical support operations.
  • Support project-related activities across assigned accounts, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder alignment.

Compliance & Provisioning

  • Audit client accounts to ensure correct provisioning and access permissions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Inventory & Partner Engagement

  • Monitor and forecast device stock levels to meet client order requirements.
  • Liaise with Vodafone Partners to ensure bespoke device provisioning and configuration requirements are met.
  • Act as a point of contact for Partners requiring Vodafone technical or commercial support.

Experience that matters:

3+ years in customer-facing roles within Mobile Telecoms.

Strong understanding of Sales, Order Fulfilment, Delivery, Support, and Billing functions.

Previous experience in Partner Management or as a Team Lead.
