MIS Analyst - German Speaker (VOIS)

Job Description

Role purpose:

Responsible for VIS department & Vodafone Global Enterprise operational reporting and analysis. He/she will work closely with VGE Business Units managers in providing the department with appropriate analysis on the department’s KPI’s together with customer specific reporting with the improvement recommendations in order to support the decision-making process as well as detecting/highlighting issues that may have impact on the business causing revenue loss in addition to Enabling VGE collecting VGE Invoices

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

  • Develop and review financial reports that is used for billing and invoicing purposes based on the revenue generated (spend) from VGE accounts in the amount 35-45 Million EGP on monthly basis.
  • Formulate and review FUP models to assist VGE Commercial monitor the usage of the global accounts, and make sure the fair usage policy is applied, and enterprise bundles are revenue generating for Vodafone while allowing for agreed saving with each account.
  • Develop P&L/Accruals report models for VIS and other OpCos in the amount of 150M EGP per annum to identify increase/decrease in revenue and cost.
  • Prepare payment enabler reports to facilitate the revenue collection process.
  • Build invoices for VGE customers based on their internal cost elements

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

  • Analyse data and develop solutions from different stakeholders from all OpCos, Partners and Affiliates in regards to reporting and analysis in more than 70 countries around the world.
  • Participate with business development managers and planning team to develop an accurate annual and quarterly headcount forecast models, giving proper insights and recommendations to assist in the decision making process.
  • Analyse KPIs and supports the operational teams with reasoned analysis e.g. extracting the root causes behind deviations, etc…
  • Collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
  • Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Excellent command of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Projects, Visio)
  • Excellent communication skills in German at least C1 level.
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Multilingual skills is and asset Solid knowledge of relational database, decision support system DSS, SQL, and different types of reporting tools (Business Objects, Reporting services, Integration services, etc...)
  • Business Objects Universe creation and maintenance experience.
  • Business Objects report development experience. Programing language (C#, VB, JavaScript, etc…) is an asset.
  • Web development background is an asset (HTML5, CSS3, PHP, etc…)
  • Statistical software experience is a must.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities under tight timeframes, while maintaining the professional standards.
