Hello there! We’re VOIS (also known as Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) and we’re looking for a

Master Data Specialist

Your role in a nutshell:

The main aim of this role is to deliver successful data migrations, manage global EVO-related projects and taking responsibility for master data migration in line with designed processes by Governance Team\ Data Leads and responsible for execution of Data Migration plan. As a Master Data Specialist, you need to be able to drive the data cleansing and deliver on data quality assurance during data migrations.

What you'll do:

  • This individual should be able to perform the data extracts from source systems, perform the data standardization, transformation, and load the data in the target system
  • Liaises with the responsible project team members and governance team members to ensure that migration activities are completed in order to reduce the ratio of incorrect master data sets in the production environment
  • Acts as a contact point between _VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) and any project teams to ensure a high and consistent quality of master data and functionality, drive and perform data cleansing as needed
  • Support the hypercare period from data migration perspective
  • Should be responsible for handover to the BAU organisation to enable ongoing support
  • Execution of data migration plan including cleansing (or coordinate on cleansing)
  • Data Profiling, Harmonisation, Coordinate MDG configuration, Data Migration and reconciliation activities, Execute mocks as per the agreed plan and report the progress to the Data Lead/ SME
  • Drive pre-load and post load sign offs, reconciliation of data, identify the scope of delta loads,
  • Execute the delta loads as per the approach defined by the SMEs/ Data Leads

What you will bring to our team:

  • 5-7 years of relevant data migration experience in SAP
  • Detailed knowledge of the end-to-end SAP Master Data processes and Data objects (like pricing, catalogue, vendor, customer, material, chart of accounts, cost and profit center management, etc)
  • Data Migration Expertise and Ownership
  • Good general knowledge of all the SAP Master data applications/ tools/ MDG/ Migration Tools (LTMC and LSMW)
  • Awareness of data governance concepts
  • Strong computer skills (ERP, MSOffice - Excel macro, Access, SQL, Business Objects)
  • Knowledge of SAP MDG technology, SAP MD experience
  • Transformation tools e.g Informatica
  • Fluent English language knowledge
