About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to lead the delivery of data management solutions and drive transformation initiatives across Group and Local Markets. This role involves transitioning from legacy technologies to SAP and Cloud (GCP), developing deep market-specific data architecture knowledge, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation.

What you will do

  • Analyse, classify, and consolidate requirements from a solution design perspective.
  • Lead reverse engineering of legacy data management and reporting systems.
  • Translate business requirements into solution designs for development.
  • Define and specify data transformation and aggregation procedures.
  • Align solution design decisions with lead information architects and IT teams.
  • Develop architectural strategies for future BI application landscapes.
  • Interface with customers to understand and deliver on expectations.

Who you are

  • A professional with 7+ years of experience in data warehousing and large-scale data migration projects.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexible and adept at problem-solving.
  • Experience in the telecom sector is advantageous.
  • Technically proficient in:
    • Data architecture, management, and BI solution design.
    • Handling large datasets (structured and unstructured).
    • RDBMS platforms like Oracle, Teradata, and Big Data projects.
    • Cloud-based solution architecture.
    • Source-to-target transformation design and implementation.
    • Logical and physical data modelling (LDM/PDM).
    • SQL-based ELT and complex transformation logic.
    • Dimensional modelling and data warehouse concepts.
