What you’ll do

Support and maintain IT systems, including servers, Citrix environments, databases, applications, and printing services. Troubleshoot technical issues, monitor system performance, perform regular maintenance and backups, and provide Level 2 support to users. Work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations, system reliability, and continuous improvement of IT services.

Who you are

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure & System Administration

  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers.
  • Monitor system health, availability, and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and software updates.
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.

2. Citrix & Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

  • Support the administration of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments.
  • Assist in managing StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and machine catalogs.
  • Create and maintain Delivery Groups, Machine Catalogs, and Citrix policies.
  • Troubleshoot user access, performance, and connectivity issues.
  • Support software deployment and image updates using MCS/PVS.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.

3. Enterprise Printing Infrastructure

  • Support enterprise printing solutions, print servers, and printer management.
  • Install and configure printers, print queues, and printer drivers.
  • Troubleshoot printing issues and user access problems.
  • Assist in maintaining Follow-Me Printing and document management integrations.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement and issue resolution.

4. SQL Server & Database Support

  • Assist in administering Microsoft SQL Server environments.
  • Monitor SQL Server health, disk space, and database performance.
  • Perform scheduled backup and restore activities.
  • Support SQL Server patching and maintenance activities.
  • Execute basic SQL queries and assist with database troubleshooting.
  • Work with application teams to resolve database-related incidents.

5. Enterprise Application Support

  • Provide Level 2 technical support for enterprise applications.
  • Assist with application installation, configuration, and deployment activities.
  • Support application integrations with databases and infrastructure components.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
  • Maintain application configuration and operational documentation.

6. Service Operations

  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and operational alerts within agreed SLAs.
  • Participate in change implementation following organizational change management procedures.
  • Perform daily operational health checks and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate incident records and update knowledge base articles.
  • Support root cause analysis by collecting logs and technical information.

7. Collaboration & Continuous Learning

  • Work closely with senior system administrators, application teams, and vendors.
  • Participate in infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
  • Continuously develop technical knowledge through training and certifications.
  • Follow IT security policies, operational procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute ideas for process automation and service improvement.

What's in it for you

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in IT Infrastructure or System Administration.
  • Basic understanding of Windows Server administration.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Basic knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration.
  • Exposure to Linux operating systems is preferred.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
  • ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
  • Microsoft or Citrix certifications are considered a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Familiarity with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server backup, restore, and monitoring.
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Basic PowerShell and SQL scripting knowledge.
  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Understanding of ITIL concepts, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
