About this Role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Solution Architect to lead technically oriented security assessments for a wide range of services and products across various technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to capture security requirements, manage virtual security teams during design and implementation phases, and ensure solutions are secure by design. The individual will also be responsible for setting security standards, assessing compliance and risk, and acting as a technical representative to stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Lead technical security assessments for global products, services, and infrastructure to ensure they are secure by design and meet appropriate security levels.
  • Capture and analyse customer and business requirements from a technical feasibility and security perspective.
  • Collaborate with architecture, design, operations, and security teams including Risk & Compliance, Ethical Hacking, and Security Operations.
  • Manage external resources and coach Security Champions within agile teams.
  • Promote innovation by demonstrating how security can be a business enabler rather than a constraint.

Who you are

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in cyber security.
  • Strong background in IT and cyber security, with experience in agile methodologies and DevSecOps.
  • Proficient in securing cloud environments, web services, CI/CD pipelines, container security, connectivity, access management, and penetration testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or equivalent.
  • Preferred: ITI Cyber Security Training Scholarship.
  • Certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, GIAC, TOGAF, SABSA or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of security platforms, virtualisation, cloud infrastructure, project management methodologies, programming languages, and automation tools.
