Job Description

About this Role

This role involves maintaining service availability through effective troubleshooting, implementing changes, and collaborating with development teams. You will leverage AI tools, DevOps methodologies, and AWS technologies to automate processes, enhance service quality, and ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct daily health checks to ensure service availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal service disruption.
  • Implement changes and enhancements to improve service reliability.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimise IoT services and integrate new features.
  • Utilise AI tools and DevOps practices to automate operational tasks and streamline incident resolution.
  • Generate regular performance and health status reports for solution components.
  • Develop and maintain functional CI/CD pipelines for automated production deployments.
  • Review and provide feedback on pre-release features.
  • Contribute to team knowledge sharing and capability building.

Who you are

  • Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure on AWS
  • Good understanding of ITIL frameworks, DevOps principles, and Agile methodologies.
  • Skilled in SQL, with the ability to draft, analyse, and debug queries.
  • Familiar with prompt engineering concepts.
  • Experienced in debugging and troubleshooting application issues on Linux servers.
  • Competent in programming or scripting using languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, or Java.
  • Comfortable working in a multinational environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and spoken.
